Imperial College London vs. NUS vs. HKUST

Hi all,

I have gotten into Imperial College London and HKUST... and am awaiting a reply from NUS which will hopefully be good. Over the past few weeks, I have been confused about which university to chose. Most people would say Imperial but I am not sure whether a degree from Imperial would provide me with the best opportunities for a foundation to build my career upon. Asia is set into a dynamic rise and seems to provide a brighter future at the moment.

by the way i got into the following courses:
Imperial - Mechanical Engineering (masters in engineering -4 yrs)<--- that may sound different... but it takes only 4 years to get a masters in this case
HKUST - Mechanical Engineering (bachelor's 3 yrs)
NUS - Mechanical Engineering - bachelors - 4 yrs -- similar to the US one (pending)

It would be great if you could all give your thoughts on this. Thanks

How can you even compare Imperial College London with NUS? Imperial College London is so much better.

Imperial College hands down
If it really matters to you you can use such factors as scholarships/financial aid, class diversity undergraduate focus, research and co-op opportunities, difference between Mech E depts of the 3 unis to come to your decision

Imperial is definitely the best choice! Its international reputation is miles above the rest as it its resource base! I would go there if I was you!

Imperial has so much more to offer! Go there.

if money nt an issue imperial
