Hello everyone! I'm a South Korean currently a high school senior and I was offered spots at these colleges and I'm not sure where to go.

Imperial College London Aeronautical Engineering MENG

Imperial College London Electrical and Electronic Engineering MENG

HKUST Engineering

Financially, I am aware that Imperial's tuition is much higher than HKUST's tuition. I am also offered a conditional for scholarship to HKUST.

In terms of jobs, I would like to have an option of going back to Korea to work.

I would base my decision on job opportunities, college experience, tuition, and programs offered.

ICL is simply awesome for any engineering major. There is an ICL Aeronautical Engineering freshman here on CC-dasadhikarik-and his experiences are truly superb. I am not sure about “back to Korea” option, but do not worry about the job opps, college experience and programs offered.

Yes the tution is indeed higher. At the end, it’s upto you! Good Luck!:)

Hello esjay do you mind sharing ur stats? thanks!! and in my opinion imperial is better in terms of environment but really both schools have pros and cons. It’s really up to you i guess. It depends on what type of people you would like to encounter in the uni life.

@hopingforbetter

Oh true. If i go to ICL, getting a job wouldn’t be much of a problem. However, seeing that HKUST is ranked number 1 or 2 in Asia, would you say ICL is still better in terms of getting a job in different parts of the world?
