Hong Kong or United Kingdom?

Hey guys,

I am wondering where to go to to further my college education. Because I'm interested in Computer Engineering, and because Hong Kong has HKUST, I'm stuck in a decision between HK and UK. I've heard that the UK has a lot of brilliant universities that are the top in the world, and I love the culture there very much, but a factor to consider is the geographical distance (I'm 8 time zones away, in the same one as HK). So the question is where, and which university to go to, assuming that my grades make the mark?

Thanks a bunch!

For computer science HKUST is pretty strong academically and in QS Ranking its below only 3 UK universities: Oxford Cambridge and Imperial. If you manage to get into any of this 3 and if tuition isnt a problem then I think you should go to UK.

Why aren’t you considering NUS? Its awesome in CS too!

Where do you hope to settle down after college?
