In SAT CR when a question asks for "the passage implies..." or anything with the word implies do I automatically exclude anything that is explicitly stated in the passage?

<p>Actually, that’s not a good idea, because the implication questions will most likely have the answered either explicitly stated or very close. Remember that CollegeBoard doesn’t want to deal with thousands of disputes over possible question answers, so they make the answer obvious enough so that there will be no disputation. So the answer that is correct should be evident from the passage, evident either because it’s pretty much written word for word, or strongly implied.</p>
<p>So is it safe to assume that CollegeBoard will never make me pick between strongly implied and implictly stated?</p>
