Hey all, just wanted your opinion on something.
How important are the AP exams? I honestly do not have motivation to study for the physics exam; my final grade in the class is all I care about.
This also goes for next year when I'm a senior. I'm going to take 4 AP's and I'm contemplating whether or not to take all of them...
What do you guys think? Should I or should I not? Thanks in advance!

The single AP test is not important. However, if you plan on getting distinctions with APs (AP Scholar, National AP Scholar, etc.) then yes, you should aim for at least a 3 or higher on your APs. These awards by far outweigh the score of one AP on your transcript.

If there’s something that’s not important, it’s the awards…

You’re supposed to take AP courses because (1) you’re interested in the subject or (2) you want college credit. Taking the exam and getting an appropriate score gets you credit and a feeling of accomplishment. If you don’t want/need the credit, then sure, there’s not much point in taking the exams.
