I want to apply to bioengineering. My overall grades (4.2w) and SAT (800 cr, 800 m, 740 w: 2340) are fine. However, my SAT 2 for Bio is 640. How much would this affect me in applying to engineering majors (esp. in the UCs). Also, I have decent grades on other SAT 2s (Math: 780, Lit: 740, History: 720). Would those make up for my bad Bio score? Thanks for any help received :].

Depends what school you want.

I'm interested in the UC's:
Mainly UCB, UCLA, and UCSD?

You'll get into any UC...

Thank you for your words of assurance :]. I guess I'm just easily worried :.

UCs require two SAT II's for admission and use the the two highest. It should not have an impact.

They certainly won't be the factors of making/breaking an admission decision unless you are very very very borderline.
