Importance of SAT/ HS GPA

Hello,
I'm a sophomore at NYU who is attempting to apply to a few top 20 schools and top Liberal Arts Schools.

I'm in the Gallatin program and have a 3.925 GPA after 3 semesters, and will have two excellent letters of rec, some EC's and strong essays.

My HS career was lacking in comparison, as I had a 3.6 GPA (still honors, but barely), and a meager 1930 on the SAT.

Since I'm applying as a Junior to places like Brown, Wesleyan, Amherst, Yale (mainly for the hell of it), and so on, I was wondering if my college credentials will outweigh my High School transcripts, and if I even have a shot at places like this.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

If you are applying as a junior, most colleges primarily look at your college GPA and not so much of your HS stats. But they still require that you send them your HS transcript.

A 3.9 at NYU is great. I think you have a chance for most of those schools.
