Hi, I'm a junior living in a small city in Washington, and Cornell is my number one choice for college as of right now. I've posted my STATS in another thread so I'll post it up here later. But as of right now, I have a question about chemistry. I want to go to Cornell's hotel school and I looked at their requirements and saw that one of the required science classes was chemistry. (why is that?) I took chemistry as a sophmore and got a "B" first semester and a "C" second semester, which killed my GPA. I am now currently in the process of choosing my senior classes and I was just wondering if I should take chem over again to better myself, and show Cornell that I want to improve etc. Do you guys think this is a waste of my time? OR is it worth it? I mean Colleges will still look at the classes I take senior year, and mid year grades right? I really think I can do better if i take chem again, and I want to try again.. What do you guys think??

sounds like a good idea, but i don't really know for sure, i'm going to CAS, a hotelie would know better than me
