I am currently abroad and planning out the rest of my trip. I am yet to receive my letter but last week I got an email that I accepted at UW Seattle for this winter quarter. I understand the dates are included with the letter in the packet but I can't wait that long to plan out and schedule flights and find stay arrangements and such. It would be much appreciated if someone who already has the packet could let me know the dates or let me know if there are any orientations after Christmas?

The packet I received says I will find out orientation info after my 272 fee is processed. I tried to find out orientation dates on the web but I couldn’t find any info.

Also - you can’t register for the orientation until you submit your immunization form which cannot be later than 2 weeks before your orientation day!

You don’t have to have it submitted before you register for the orientation. They want you to have it submitted and processed before you go to the orientation and registar for classes

Mine says " You are not eligible to register for this quarter". I’m freaking out a little. I think it’s because I just sent in my NSEOF today and that won’t be processed until tomorrow or so. Anybody else experiencing this as well?

I just cleared my Measles requirement as well

I sent both the measles form and the check yesterday and both went into their system today. I do have to wait to register for orientation but it is letting me go through registration for classes. Will I be getting a letter from them soon about the orientation?

wndnjs you should be able to register for orientation. Go to First Year Programs under the After Being Admitted tab. You’ll find info on orientation and how to sign up. I’m going the 7th :)

From someone earlier:
Mine says " You are not eligible to register for this quarter".

It will have this message for all new students until their orientation date. At that point, the error message will dissapear and it will let you register (provided the measles thing went through) for your classes (provided that there is an open slot).
