Is it a good sign? It seems like they wouldn't waste time allocating funds to people if they weren't accepted, and everyone I've seen get this (thus far) has been accepted.

Is there anyone who has received this email who was not admitted? I’m pretty anxious about this. I’ve heard it’s a good sign, and everyone I’ve seen who got it was admitted–and it seems like a waste of time for them to check FAFSAs and allocate grants/aid to students who were already rejected.

I could be wrong, but I believe the only people being accepted in February are those in the Honors Program. The rest of the decisions come on March 1-30. I think it’s a good sign, though…? They wouldn’t have calculated the aid packages for applicants they’d already decided to reject. Or maybe they would, but it doesn’t seem likely or time-efficient.

I got that exact email last Tuesday as well. I haven’t been accepted(or denied) yet either. Not to put you down or anything, whoopsitsauser, but I doubt it means anything because my stats are below average(3.5 UC GPA, 1830 SAT) and I applied to an impacted major(Electrical Engineering) and I still got this email for some reason. Now if it IS a good sign, I’m excited, but I’m not going to get my hopes up or anything. Good luck to you!
