<p>weeenie…I think you may have the National Merit program confused with other scholarships. It’s not a scholarship that you “apply” for. The only way to qualify for a National Merit scholarship is to take the PSAT during your junior year of high school and achieve a high enough qualifying score for the particular state you live in.</p>
<p>Also, you have to be a US citizen to qualify.</p>
<p>Once you have your SAT scores, you can see if there are other merit scholarships you can qualify for.</p>
