U.S. citizen studying abroad\ National Merit Scholarship

I am a U.S citizen who ended up moving overseas with her family. I have continued my education and I am going to become a junior. I was wondering if I can still apply for a “National Merit Scholarship” even though my high school that I am attending is overseas.

As long as you are a US citizen you can qualify for National Merit competition. First step is to take the PSAT in October - does your school offer the exam? Or a nearby school? You will have to meet the highest cut off score in the country to qualify (it has been 223 in recent years).
