I was wondering if the amount of times you took either the ACT or the SAT affected how colleges viewed your score assuming that the last score you got was the one you sent in and assuming that the college requires you to send all scores. For example I’m about to take my 3rd SAT, I got a 2040 on the first one and 2020 on the second one. Say I got a 2270 on my third try, would the fact that it was my third try cause the score to lose some of its impressiveness? Obviously it depends on the college so lets say for ivy leagues. Thanks and this question also goes for the ACT.
First off, don’t do shameless bumps after 3 hours; they’ll only get deleted.
Well, if the college requires you to send all scores, you can’t just send in the last one.
There’s probably a magic number of times after which a college will question if you are more than a test taking drone. I have no idea what the number is, but personally, I would limit it to 3.
