I've left this a little late. Not sure which subjects to take because I do the British A Level system and the deadline is today. I intend to major in economics.

Is it worth it taking Maths I and II? Or do unis look down on that?

If not, what's the second exam I should take? I've looked at physics, most of it seems ok but some of it seems more advanced than the level I've taken it to. I've also done quite a bit of history but nothing on africa etc and world history isn't on till December. I've only just started the US civil war in school so US history is out of the question (though I've done WWII and the depression). I speak Arabic, English and Urdu but none of the languages for the SAT subject test. Not sure what the English Lit. one entails but didn't take it above GCSE Level.

I'm in a muslim country so SAT has been delayed till Nov. 16 for me.

Colleges that require two SAT IIs require them in different subjects; thus submitting both a math 1 and a math 2 would count as one toward total needed. Research each college’s site to see if there are any particular SAT IIs required for economics. If not (the usual case) you can submit any two as long as they are in different subjects. If you think you can do well in a math take one and find another that you will do well.

Some caveats on the math 1 test: Stanford, which does not require SAT IIs, recommends them and recommends math 2 if you submit a math; the UCs which also do not require but some recommend SAT IIs do not accept the math 1; Caltech requires math 2 and a science of all applicants; MIT requires a math (either 1 or 2) and a science of all applicants; if you change your mind and decide you want to apply for engineering and in some cases science, then some other colleges require math 2 and a science for those majors.
