Opening AP test scores sucks, but for me it was easy.... My mom did it (without asking!) while I was in Honduras...

bluedevil1027 lol the exact same thing happened to me when I was in Maine on a canoeing trip. I was kind of mad at my mom, but happy with the results so it didn't really matter.

It's going to be hard to get my family to stay away from the mailbox next week though lol.

JTC007...I'm right there with you...I'm about to institute some rules so that I can open my deferral/rejection/acceptance letter in peace!

Soon...

I wish.....that would be the most awesome admission letter (provided of course I got in :p).

That's the :former: real thing.

My family actually called CollegeBoard AP as soon as possible to get the scores (several weeks before scores were mailed out). I must say, the seconds leading up the "talking machine" were rather intense...

haha but they changed it, right??

Yeah I thought that was how the old letter looked like.

No idea if they changed it, that's what I heard too.

Hey, another point: in the old days (before e-mail i guess) I think the Ivy League all sent out decisions at the same time via snail mail. We know Columbia ppl get theirs tommorow and apparently now Dartmouth is mailing tommorow. I don't know how much the tradition (if it even was one lol maybe i'm totally off) still lives, but if we want to be optimistic we might be able to say we'll know soon. Is that good or bad though?

I don't know...because I think Yale isn't done yet because apparently my friend was contacted today because they were missing something of hers.

wa?? omg that stinks if her app is still incomplete-hopefully something minor?

According to her, they can't check the status of their app online? I don't know if that's true or if she doesn't know how to work her comp properly...
Anyway, like a couple of weeks after Nov 1, they e-mailed her and said her transcript was missing so she faxed it over.
But now, they said her 2nd teacher rec is missing too?!
It's weird that they're telling her this late...

(And the teacher did mail hers in because she mailed my Princeton rec at the same time)

Actually, I am somewhat grateful that the letters don't come right away. I would much rather be depressed during winter break than during finals week.

I just KNOW that I was deferred (which means I will be mucho sad if rejected).

lol, I should work on a prediction web site.

one fine day- i got a big envelope, that too from pton... and you shouldv'e seen me jumping around!!! but then sense struck on me and made me open it before i celebrate... :p it was only a viewbook

lol it seems like we are dropping like flies to this practical joke that P'ton is playing on their ED applicants...

aww i didn't get a viewbook...

the view book was simply... breathtaking..

my parents finally convinced that pton is good... lol.

(to jon314) Yeah I'm kinda ****ed off... My mom said "If a letter comes [from a college] I'm opening it I don't care if you're home or not"
