hehe everyone one CC knows by now how much im freaking out about my app arriving and being logged in properly.

well, my anxiety got the best of me and i actually drove to the admission office a couple days ago.

this is wat i witnessed.
TRUCKLOADS (i am not exaggerating) of mail envelopes piled up like crazy. they are opening as fast as they possibly can, but are picking them up in a RANDOM ORDER! lol my app must be at the bottom of the pile. they said that if i still don't receive the confirmation email in about 2 weeks, i should call them. 2 WEEKS?!

i think i read somewhere that the alum network gets the list of all ED appliants on NOV 3 or something, but that just doesnt seem possible. not all applicants will be on that list. so i am really not sure about the approx. time we'd be contacted for interviews.

Haha, pk, I sincerely hope that you live near Princeton and did not drive like 5 hours or something to get there!! :p
Have any pictures? I would love to see these "truckloads" of envelopes...must have been quite a sight!

yah...a picture would be great....princeton is literally on the other side of the world...so i don't have the oppurtunity to drive to princeton...but i would love to see the pictures of Pton.

amnesia, i didn't intend the word "random" to be associated with chaos or lack of organization. what i meant was simply that they are opening the envelopes as fast as they can, but not in any particular order. they have hordes of mail coming in, esp from teachers/recommenders that they are very busy. so there is a chance of someone's app just not being logged in anytime soon
