hey i got an email from princeton asking for my street adress...
they said that UPS can't deliver into Post Box...
did any of u guys get such email???

um no, but I'm sure they know my street address, maybe you forgot to put yours on your app...

wait. UPS? not USPS?

yah...but the important thing is they are going to UPS me...
this means that all international applicants are getting from UPS..
and the fact that they asked for it today implies that they have begun sending the decisions..

yeah pk, UPS

when did u get the email?

wait...is that only for internationals? Can they send it to a PO box within the US?!?!

wat is UPS

United Parcel Service

United Parcel Service

it was sent on december 12 6:04

Dear Sailesh,

In order to send your early decision decision letter, we need to know if there is a street address to which we can mail your letter. UPS is not able to deliver mail to P.O. Box addresses, and that is the type of address we have for you. If there is a street address to which we can send your letter - even if it is to your school - I would most appreciate it.

Best wishes to you.

Woops, didnt see you had already posted, argon. :)

So they're being sent UPS??? Or does that mean that sailesh was accepted? :D

how long does UPS take lets say to reach italy?

that is what is confusing me.. lol...
there was mentioned in some thread that they use regular mail only except for accepted internationals for whom they use fedex...
now i am totally confused..it is UPS..something like fedex..but i think they are using it for all internationals..

WAAAIT seriously is that only for internationals? Can they send to PO boxes within the US?

it takes max. 5 days to reach Nepal..which is halfway round the earth
so, to italy it will take 2 days max

okay, how about we tell them to email us once they send the letters, last year the internationals did that, and they found out before the kids from the states

i think they will send regular mails in US...so, there will be no problem or PO boxes

ha ok thanks!!!!
