P.S does anyone have any stories they have heard about transfering to harvard?

I'm not sure what you mean by "transfering to Harvard". It's very possible to get into Haas from a CC with a (nearly) perfect GPA and very good ECs and Essays. After you get your Degree from Cal, you can of course apply to Harvard's Master's Program (or whatever), but that's not a transfer, it's a normal graduate application.

Also, most graduate schools, especially for Business, like to see some work experience. It's unlikely, though not impossible, that you'll get into a great graduate school like Harvard straight after you received your undergrad Degree.

Yes that was my question. I am actually going to maintain a 3.8 (that is if I can't get straight A's when I enter college) and join Student Government, Kappa Gamma Sigma, and the Scholars Program. Also I will try to get a job at Bank of America.

Assuming I will get accpeted to Haas(after 2 years of cc), I will then finish the 2 years left (Im assuming I can't stay longer to get other degrees) of which I will maintain excellent grades (It won't be a surprise if I am qulified to get accepted in the first place).

After all that four years I am assuming that I would be very prepared and qualified for a outstanding job but being the over achiever that I am I will apply to harvard and by then my achievements will be outstanding (I mean come on...Haas!) and if I get accepted I will continue with Business Admin but I have no clue how long I'd be there.

That is if I stick to every thing I said, but they say you can talk but can you do it?

True, you can talk, but can you do it? It seems like a good plan.

See but I wish it were that easy...I can work hard to get the grades and help others...but the problem is that I have issues that can stop me such as my horrible writing (Well my big brother said I write horrible essays) and I fear that I can't improve that in 2 years...How can you learn to write better essays when you don't see what's wronge??

One good quality my friends say I have is that I can get the most inspiration speeches even though I just blab out random issues...Meaning I speak about total B.S. but when you heard me talking about it you think wow this guy is amazing.

I am almost inclined to believe this is a troll, but I'll ignore that for now.

First off, I must say that a 3.8 is extremely risky when applying to Haas from a CCC; and secondly, that same 3.8 will further degrade your chances at Harvard. If you really are the overachiever you insist you are, I suggest you maintain a 4.0 without question.

Also, if you are that concerned with your writing abilities, reading is the perfect antidote; the more you read, the better your writing will become. And really, as stigmatized as CCC may be in terms of academic laxity, you can learn a lot if you are willing.

The best way to improve your writing is to read.
