Hey guys, I finally made an account after lurking for quite a while. Here's my situation. I just turned 15 years old. I'm a junior in high school taking nearly all AP classes. I'm probably going to college next year. I excel in each and every subject besides math. Math has always been the bane of my existence. I have had a horrid array of math teachers: inexperienced teachers, first year teachers, idiots. My ninth grade Algebra teacher essentially screwed me over and I've convinced myself that I am just...bad at math ever since. I stopped trying in Geometry and fell further behind, and now the same is happening in Algebra 2. I maintain a good average in these math classes but I fail to understand or sufficiently grasp a concept. Here's where the ACT comes in. I took it once last year, got a 36 on Reading and English, 28-ish on Science (ran out of time) and around an 18 in Math. I hadn't encountered 3/4 of what was on the math section of the test. Ended up guessing on most of the questions. How may I improve my score? I just feel ashamed. It's not even entirely about the ACT - I merely want to know math. I truly do. But I'm so far behind. If any guys of you have advice, anything at all, please help me out.

Pm me. Maybe I can help you. Proof: 35 math on act two times. I know its not a 36, but it’s just because I made silly errors

I got a 34 composite with 34 math (I ran out of time). Learn the things on these pages: ( okay I can’t copy paste on NY phone, but google “act math concepts” and learn the “act 100 math concepts” and the “act sparknotes test prep: act math subjects” then do practice tests to work on time problems. Also YouTube search “reason prep” and watch all the sat math videos, if you like.) Good luck!
