Do you know how many ppl went into Stanford or MIT this year? My sister doesnā€™t even know, and my momā€™s talking about how only 2 kids went to Harvard and 1 to Princeton or something like that, and how IMSA doesnā€™t send kids to good colleges anymore

I just made an instagram account - jaejunpark29

I have a blank profile picture btw

cornell: 5
uchicago: 5
princeton: 3
harvard: 3
duke: 4
columbia: 1
cmu: many
northwestern: 4
none for stanford or mit
as far as i know at least

I thought IMSA sent 3+ kids consistently to MIT n Stanford for nearly every year

Considering the fact that about 250 kids go into this school each year, 9 percent of kids going into a 1500SAT school is big. My school isnā€™t even close to those margins.

i meanā€¦ at least 6 confirmed hyp is already insane lol, considering class size and covid

Hi! To anyone who was waitpooled I have some info for you. I was a waitpooled student and was called off the waitpool right before the second orientation. I think it was early June 12th. I remember being told they werenā€™t calling any students off the waitpool till after that orientation, so it really could be anytime. The amount of people who are called off varies heavily from year to year. There have been years where most if not all of the waitpool eventually gets invited to the academy. If you have questions feel free to ask.

They usually do! The matriculations vary a lot from class to class. For instance, this year there were a lot more liberal arts colleges then usual.

3 princeton, 3 harvard
1 upenn M+T

and 3 vanderbilt

The other thing is, Iā€™m already one of the top 3 in my school in overall grades, and 1st in the math team, and I can academically dominate all the kids in my grade here, so Iā€™m just wondering if it was rlly worth it. Iā€™ve heard that there is so much schoolwork and APs that ppl just canā€™t do good Extracurriculars unless they are geniuses.

So does called off mean your were accepted or rejected?
