there shouldn’t be anything that you need to fill out. you can always press ‘next’ and go back and edit afterwards. just remember to save after you finish editing haha. hope this helps
yeah you can always go back and edit
(remember to save, i had to rewrite my ecs and awards b/c I never saved it)
also, have you finished your application?
Yes, all my sections are filled out. Also, one thing. When I go to “Application Status”, all my checkboxes are filled except for the “OfficalSAT score submitted” box. Where/how are we supposed to submit SAT scores? I didn’t see a section for it and haven’t gotten an email back.
you don’t have to submit them this year, don’t worry about it. you only have to take the test and submit scores if you’re accepted to help with placement.
You should submit the score(s) you like from college board to IMSA using the code they gave. You then put the dates of the sat, if you took it, into the section about the SAT in the application. The score(s) will take a few days to send. The code is on the website. I hope this helps.
They still want you to send a score, if you took it, though they would not consider it.
I’m just about to submit my application, but my “Signature” section won’t save. It says that I finished my signature section already, but when I go into the section, all sections are empty. should I just submit it, or should I be concerned?
If it says it’s submitted they have it. No need for concern
I have the same problem, maybe we all just can’t see the signatures after we saved them?
Yeah I had the problem too. As long as the checklist says it is complete IMSA has it
Would I be fine with a 3.75 across all 3 years for unweighted gpa? My weighted is around 4.5ish
I think so, but I don’t know if the average GPA of ~3.9 for accepted students is Unweighted or Weighted… I honestly am worried about my grades as well, since I don’t know how IMSA would translate my Junior High’s SBG grades into a traditional, GPA form.
Are the applications due tomorrow at 11:59 or before the 15th. I still need to revise my essays for like the 7th time
Bruh, I already submitted my essays, but I noticed about 1 or 2 grammar errors on each essay, which is weird because I reviewed them 10 times. Would it affect my chances?
Probably not. Teachers are nice people
I submitted my application, but I am worried about the parent essay. Both of my parents don’t speak english so I had to translate it to the best of my ability. Hopefully the admissions team keeps this in mind.
I’m in the same boat. Make sure you mention that your parents don’t speak English in your optional statement so that IMSA can take that into consideration.
How do I reply on this thing?
hi oh
My dads a drop out and a jail bird. My mom barely passed high school. When i found out there was gonna be a parent essay, ngl i started laughing.
