in a pickle

so basically, my school operates on three terms. first term marks were available in december, so i sent those in with my app. second term ends around march3, so i can probably get my marks from my teachers that week, and my counselor can verify them an d send them in my midyear...
they wont be on an official transcript till end of march.

is first week of march too late? if so, what are my other options? there doesnt seem to be any point in sending in first term again, since colleges have it and they want to see how i am now.

the commonapp says after first semeter or second trimester...

what to do?thank you all :)

buuuuuuuuuuuuump

schools all have different deadlines for mid-years. most are in february so i doubt it's worth/possible to send your march 3 grades.

Colleges will call your school for the mid years if they need them to make a decision. I had a work study job in college where that's all I did--call schools for mid year grades of those being accepted.

^ That's helpful to know.

anyone else?

Oh and to hmom what school if you don't mind me asking, did this

I think if you'd really want to know, you could call the colleges to find out. Your counselor should probably also know about this. I wouldn't worry about this too much though, because the colleges would already have had your 1st term grades even if not the 2nd one when they consider your app.

end of march? arnt the decision mailed by then?!

no i'm canadian so my counsellor doesnt know ****.
and yeah i was trying to avoid calling12 unis but i guess i will

and no i said end of eebruary, or very early march.

Ask the college, not a bunch of well meaning, but uninformed strangers.

uh I’m in Vancouver too
wondering what you did in the end…cuz i have the same questions!!!
