<p>Essentially xiggi the young dude who grew up on CC is complaining he is no longer the demographic. I am sympathizing with him that people who pay for things are never the demographic (he can afford to buy stuff if CC advertised!). :p</p>
<p>Oh no, TPG, I am merely ranting against changes that MIGHT entail being more like FB, being more graphical than contextual, allowing avatars and similar things I have always found distracting and utterly stupid, and more of the stuff teenagers like. 
</p>
<p>But having straddled the edge of the quitting cliff for years, I should be thankful to finally being old enough to have become irrelevant. And led to a greener pasture. </p>

<p>oldfort—there is this wonderful program called 1 Password for Mac. There is a different program for PCs but I have been on Apple so long that I can’t recall the other name—just like I can’t recall passwords!</p>
<p>You create a master password to unlock 1 Password and it saves all of your passwords & log-in IDs.</p>
<p>So it is going to have an easy quote feature like EVERY OTHER forum has? If not, why not?</p>

<p>OT, but that’s simply not true. Media planners and buyers don’t assume that 18-34 yo’s are always “better” or worth paying a premium for. That’s an old chestnut. It all depends on the brand, category or service.</p>
<p>I have to admit I like the “clean” look of this forum. I can’t tolerate very long forums that have animations and emoticons all over the place.</p>
<p>The server busy messages should go away when the switch happens and things settle down. The servers will be new, too. Might take a little while to fully set up the new servers, though, when the firehose of CC traffic hits 'em.</p>
<p>Feeling kinda burned after the CommonApp situation… So, I’m more “hmm… sure… wondering if this was necessary”… than excited.</p>
<p>Two likes for the Princeton/FB debunk…I finally had time to read it.</p>
<p>One improvement I would like is the ability to click on a thread and have it go to the first unread post, not the first unread post since the last time I was logged into CC. I don’t always check every thread each time I’m on CC, so I wish the thread would remember the last time I was here.</p>

<p>and if there’s going to be some kind Facebook stuff, does that mean that Facebook links will now be allowed? If not, then that seems a bit weird…at least linking to groups, like “Harvard’s Class of 2018” page should be allowed. I can understand not linking to personal pages.</p>
