In desperate need of help!!!

Hello everyone, I am about to enter my senior year of high school, and would like to know some things while doing my college search. In my 9th and 10th grade years, I didn't do so well.. my GPA was slightly above 2.0 out of 4. In 11th grade, my GPA was about 2.7. I regret not doing my best, but this year I am taking more challenging courses and hope to obtain a GPA around 2.9 or higher (and I will). The thing is, I also have good work experience, I operate 3 profitable businesses, I do internet management and development and online marketing as well. I also have strong skills in graphic design and animation. I am part of the Future Business Leaders of America, with the position as Vice President. I have won awards in that program in state and region wide competitions for Marketing, Web Desing, and Entrepreneurship. I have always done strongly in my Business classes at school, but not too well in my subjects such as mathematics, science, history, and english. I would like to get into an alright school, no Ivy league or anything, and I have taken my SAT once and didnt do too well, so I am taking them again this fall, and maybe once more. I plan to also take my ACT as well. I hope to obtain a management position as well to help my chances for an MBA program. I know I am not capable of Ivy League, but what are some colleges that are in my range I should be looking at so I am not wasting my time looking at all the wrong schools? I will relocate anywhere in the US as long as I get a good education for Business.

what's going on...? You said in another post that you are attending UNLV?

From that, it sounds like you are squared away... UNLV is in your range... you may want to look at Weber State in Ogden, UT also... it's non-competitive entrance requirements but has a decent business program (accredited in business and accounting by AACSB).

Sorry, I typed that incorrectly.. I was distracted when I was typing that. But what I meant to say is that I am hoping to attend UNLV. But then when I wrote this post I was curious to see what is in my range.. you can probably work the 2 posts together to see what I mean and about how I did in my past 3 years of high school...

anyone know how UNLV's business program is for a bachelors? and how much easier is it to get into haas or gsb than wharton?
