You should probably mention who the professor was if there's more than one person who teaches it. It doesn't have to be in your major/minor just your favorite. (Why it's your favorite would be nice as well, but not required. :) )

This is a good thread; I hope people post to it.

Calculus II for Math/Physics with Professor Greenfield
This was mostly due to the professor. Even as an engineering major, math has always been harder than sciences for me. Greenfield is awesome!

Social Psychology with Professor Kilianski
It’s a nice change of pace from engineering courses and I’ve always been interested in Social Psych. Kilianski is a great professor, and the exams really aren’t too bad. Definitely take this if Gladwell’s The Tipping Point hooked you. Social psych is just a generally fun course.

Now that someone else has gone.

Mechanical Properties of Materials with Professor Akdogan

Even though it was an overview class, I found it fascinating how all of my previous science courses interconnected in the field of materials. Also, because my teacher was a Research Associate, he always used awesome examples from industry to highlight why the material was important to an engineering project and what can go wrong if they are not engineered properly. The course inspired me to take more courses within the Materials department.

I have yet to find a favorite non-engineering course. Hopefully we’ll have some other majors answer this thread. hint hint

Soc Med & Health Care with Professor Hansell. His lectures are really interesting & there are only 3 exams that are curved it’s practically impossible to fail this class.

Also Health Psych (McCarthy) & Adolescent Psych (Mayhew)

subscribing to this :)
