In my school...

In my school, there are so many great URMs and legacies applying to top schools...
Should I lose hope getting in?..

To my knowledge, Cornell does not place a limit on the number of students it accepts from any HS. You should be judged on your own merits.

Depends on how you compare to the URMs/legacies. Do you offer a superior application? If so, by how much?

And technically, Cornell doesn’t limit the number of students by high school. Perhaps there are unofficial caps at schools where half the class goes to a top 30 school, but this should only apply to some of the super elite private schools. Going to a school that frequently has students accepted to Cornell is a significant advantage because Cornell will know they’re getting quality students.
