So today I received my report card and I am bummed...
I am a sophomore and I currently have a 3.66GPA. I made a mistake in 8th grade putting junior high classes that i did not do well in on my transcript and thus the low GPA. If i had not done this it would be a 3.86...
It's still not that good, but I had been in a gifted program(1 of 50 out of about 1500 in my district) which had obviously harder courses which is why its not a 4.0.

I'm a really smart guy (not trying to be conceited) but I'm like really down because I feel like I won't get into my dream college (Stanford) because of my low GPA. I figured that If I keep getting A's in all my classes, it would turn out to be a 3.86ish by senior year, but considering that it is just a possibility, I'm guessing around a 3.8GPA is probable.

Aside from my GPA and stuff...

Clubs: (ones that i do because i am passionate about them)
-International
-Interact
-Key
-Chemistry
-Honor Society
-Math

Leadership:
-Sophomore class president (will continue a leadership position all through HS)
-Chemistry club secretary

Sports:
-Swim team (2 years, looking to do 4)
-Looking to do track and tennis for 2 years.

Others:
-Volunteer many hours through church
-Looking to give swim or violin lessons
-Varsity letter in community service (looking to do 3 years)
-Played violin for 7 years (school orchestra and Youth Symphony Orchestra)
-Taking 2 AP's (looking to do about 10 total)
-2200 SAT
-Have a YouTube channel where I share music that I have written w/ others.

There might be stuff that I forgot, but this is pretty much it.

So, after getting a glimpse of who I am... Do you think that I might have a chance at Standford later? And what should I do to better myself If I do have a chance?

Any advice is much appreciated. Thank You!
