Hi, I'm applying to a couple competitive schools, but I'm in need of more targets and safeties. I'm looking for schools with great-premed tracks and records! I'm also looking to stay in the Northeast.

Here are my stats

GPA: 3.71 - #1 Highschool in NJ
SAT: 2090 (740 M, 640 CR, 710 W)
SAT 2: Math 2C 790 , Chem 690

E/C: Internship w/ Orthopedic Surgeon every Wednesday, Hospital Volunteer (Radiology Department, Labratory Department), Teacher's Assistant for summer classes kids K-8, Camp volunteer for kids with mental illnesses, Battlebots board member & participant, President of club aimed to help autistic children, Freshman and Sophomore Soccer, National Honor Society, Internship at Private Pharmacy,Treasurer off SouthAsian Club and VP of World Hunger Club, Designed Dance for School w/ kids w/ mental illnesses, helped coordinate pancreatic cancer walk

Thank you!

What kind of school are you looking for (research, LAC, etc) and are there any financial concerns (want merit aid, need need-based aid, etc)?

If you’re hoping for merit aid and are a senior applying this year, you’ve likely missed a lot of deadlines, so acting quickly is imperative.

I am not looking for anything in particular, other than a good reputation for it’s students getting into decent med schools! I am also hoping for merit aid. Most deadlines are Jan. 1st, and I think all the schools I’m applying to have their merit deadlines the same as their application deadlines. So I do not think there is an issue. But if you still have suggestions, I’d love to hear them. Thanks

Rutgers and other state universities in New Jersey?

Stony Brook and other SUNYs, since they are relatively low cost for out-of-state?
