In need of some safeties

hey guys, I'm in need of some safeties.

A few good EC's

As of now I have applied to Elon, William and Mary, and UNC. I also want to apply to UVA. Where else should I consider? I want a bigger school compared to what I am at now (<2000), so perhaps 5000+ would even be big enough.

I would like a school in the midatlantic/south: MD/VA/NC/
I'm willing to go farther though for a school that would fit me well...

I’m also applying to W&M and UNC! I think we (might) have similar tastes, so I’m gonna list some schools I’ve been looking at that are more on the safety-ish side (but not total safeties): NC State, University of Richmond, VA Tech, American University and College of Charleston.

What’s your first choice school?

Academic safeties or financial safeties? How much money can your family pay?

Where were you admitted last year? Are any of those places on your list this time?

I’m looking for academic safeties/matches, as I know that I may be denied by all of my schools save Elon. My family will not receive FA, but that does not necessarily mean that we can afford to pay $50,000+ a year. $40,000 is probably more feasible, and at best the most my parents would be willing to pay. Last year I was waitlisted at Wake Forest (I may apply again) and denied by UVA (OOS). My top choice is UNC, followed by UVA/William and Mary, and last is Elon.

McBainTrain, UofR does seem like a good match. I’ll definitely look at it! Thanks!

Do you like any of the public universities in your home state? Those might be your best options.
