Yes, I love the Brown campus. It looks exactly as a college should.

By the way, bring lots and lots of warm Winter clothes and scarves. I don't know if you California wimps can handle it. ;)

Just kidding, Providence is great. My aunt used to take horseback riding lessons on the beach when she went to Brown, so you guys should feel right at home.

LOL I am kind of scared to leave cozy, non-seasonal California.

And I agree. Brown has a magnificient campus. And the area around it is very nice and colonial, too. Ahhhh New England charm...

Thomas, I hope you've got enough money to pay for all of us. LOL you'll be taking the entire freshman class out to eat before long ;)

I am a New Englander at heart. I was just born in California.

Sometimes that's what I think, too.

Or possibly a European born in an American's body?... I love Europe. One of the things I'm most excited about in college is studying abroad in France.

Before ya'll buy a house, talk to me first (remember, I am a real estate agent) :)
I am already searching for housing near campus. Even though I am a little older than most of you, I don't mind living on campus for a while until I could locate a house.

New England makes me feel so proud. It's a wonderful community to be part of. It's great to know that you're completely surrounded on all sides by blue states.

Oooh- connections! :D lol

I'm really anxious to live in a dorm, actually. It sounds like fun.

And fids- that's a very good point. At least the whole west coast is blue, too.

Calidan, I want to study abroad in France, too. Which semester do you think you'll go?

Amor...I believe I could swing it! :)

calidan, you're going to study in France? That's awesome. I reallllllly want to study in Rome.

I want to go to Oxford (or Cambridge if I must lol) for studying abroad.

Amor- I haven't really though about it too much, but sometime during junior year- but probably spring semester (the weather is nicer then). However, I might spend the whole year abroad, too.

"It's great to know that you're completely surrounded on all sides by blue states."

Amen to that.

I am probably past the age to enjoy the "dorm life". Oh well... :(

whew... exciting game of oregon trail! (yes, i know i'm 18, and oregon trail is dorky... but anything is good if it puts off homework.)

the blue state-ness is definitely a plus.

I LOVE Oregon trail!!! I lost it, but I've been looking to buy it on ebay!

OMG it is such an awesome game.

I feel uneasy with Nevada right there...

i'd love to study in paris or florence. they both have really fascinating histories and personalities.
