In State Acceptance Rate

What is the UGA In-State Acceptance Rate? Also is the EA acceptance rate higher or the RD acceptance rate higher?

EA  .

In state regular decision is 53% and early action is 65.8%. If you are in state also take into account your location within state. Though they say it doesn’t matter, it really does. People who are in more central Georgia and in the suburbs of Atlanta are at a very deep disadvantage compared to those who are more rural. I know people who had lower scores, fewer APs and almost no extra curriculars (but lived in rural South Georgia) that were accepted over people who had much higher scores, tons of APs and national academic and athletic recognition. The same goes for the Honors college. The more rural you are, the bigger advantage you have.

This kills me, the uga admissions blog specifically states they do not differentiate between in state and out of state applicants. The above in an opinion not fact.
