In State MSU vs OOS Purdue

I want to go into computer engineering or computer science.

31 ACT
3.8 weighted gpa

If I get into MSU (assuming I will), is it worth it to go oos to schools like purdue for engineering?

It will cost way more I am assuming

MSU engineering is good. Go for it.

any other opinions?

also are there any other AFFORDABLE state schools for me to consider for engineering ex. good scholarships

If you're going OOS for CS/CE, why not go for the gusto and apply to UIUC, which is even better than Purdue in those fields? They do seem to hand out some scholly dough as well. Texas and A&M have low tuition, even OOS, but they are pretty difficult with admission for nonresidents. Still, it is probably worth a shot!

what I am saying is

is it worth it to pay double to go to one of those schools as opposed to MSU?

Purdue slightly better than MSU in engineering, but it's not worth the OSS tuition difference to go there... Overall (including all curricula) MSU's a stronger school.

MSU has a nicer environment as well. But I wont lie. Engineering is famous at Purdue.

Why not U of M??? I believe it's better than Purdue.

I am just talking about in general oos vs instate

u should go to UMich!

if u dont get into MSU, i bet u their ranking has been skyrocketed...lol
