In State tuition | Leaving State

Hi guys, I have quick question. I'm thinking about taking a semester off to work and save up money for school. However, I'm thinking about working in a different state during this period. If I do this, and leave my current home state, will I still be eligible for in state tuition once I come back for the Fall semester? I'd probably be gone for roughly 6 months.

Thanks

You need to check the policy of the particular school in question.

Are you a 18 year old student? Are your parents moving too?

Nope, I’m turning 24 in February, and my parents would stay where they are. I’d be moving in with my brother who lives in California (I’m currently in MD)

Likely okay but why aren’t you asking your own college?

Since you’re turning 24, it could be a problem.

Why can’t you get a job in your home state, and not muck up the works!
