I am so confused. I auditioned for Ithaca MT on December 3…and I have yet to hear back. My audition switched from under the “What We Still Need” to “What We Have” on thursday…how are they going to let me know? How do I know if I didn’t get in? AGH!

I would call admissions and ask about the status of your application. I wonder why it took so long for everything to move over to the “what we have section” My audition switched to the “what we have section” about a week and a half after my audition. They are probably backed-up with the large number of auditions they’ve had recently. Like I said, call admissions and ask about your status.

@gjo2882 From what has already been written on how Ithaca’s process works, what more likely happened is that the theatre department held on to you on purpose. You were not out nor absolutely in but somebody they wanted to keep in their pocket once they saw everyone else and then they would decide. The department released their decision on you around the same time that they released anything else that remained (including their decisions about the very last audition date). Now the decision is in the hands of admissions and you should know one way or the other shortly. At least that is the impression that I would get from what others have written both this year and last on the same subject.
