And what are "hardcore" APs? No need to be PC here, just want to see how you guys think.

I personally think all the legit science ones are hardcore, add calc ab/bc to that and of course foreign languages, assuming you aren't a native speaker. Thoughts?

Woot, yea I just started taking AP psych and I gotta say on avg, its not the hardest but its not the easiest as well, it does involve studying and concentration on finding and applying ideas but I think if u study hard and believe in psych, u can do well. At the midst of things, I think it will become easier as your mind flows.

I would also add AP economics to the easy list, my teacher is gr8 and the materiel is very fun to learn. If u work hard in that class, you can do very well.

I took AP chem and decided to drop out just bcus the math got too pressed on for me, couldn’t concentrate well but for those who take it, I think the best part of it is if u no reactions very well and do well on labs, you’ll do fine in the class.

ap psych is a joke. I have never taken ap psych in my life, but with barrons’s psych, i crammed it in 2 weeks(intense memorizing lol.), and got a 4… which is like 4 credits for my school :)

When I took last year APWH exam, I thought it was a joke because the MC was common sense if you read the textbook and the FRQs were extremely easy to respond to.

I think that determining whether an AP is a joke or hardcore really depends on the teacher. To me, Calculus BC is kind of a joke because I have an incredibly good teacher, while European History (which I haven’t seen being said to be “hardcore”) has become incredibly difficult because my teacher is terrible (to say the least)

But, I would agree that AP Environmental Science is a joke–I looked at a review book and I couldn’t believe how simple the concepts are.

Honestly? Joke APs? I don’t think they exist. Usually people say some APs are a joke AFTER they get a 5 and magically forget all the work before that.

@Alt_F4 - Maybe. On the APWH, MC was indeed common sense. The only thing I was worried about was the FR questions of the year and when I saw that they were easy prompts, I was extremely certain that I receive a 5 on that exam before AP Score report was mailed.
