Include Tutoring Money in Student Wages for FAFSA and CSS

Hi! I’m thinking of including tutoring on my college applications as I have no other employment whatsoever. However, I barely made anything as I worked for around 1 hour/week for 7 weeks and made around $60-70 in all. First of all, should I include this in my college applications? And if I were to, then would I have to write this on my FAFSA and CSS profile? Thanks!

If it’s wages paid for services performed (and it is), it needs to be reported on FAFSA and Profile. Note that for the 2018-2019 FAFSA and Profile, the wages to be reported are from 2016. Is that when you made the $60-$70?

@BelknapPoint Oh, no, I did it this year (2017). So does that mean it’s not included? And do you think it’s so little work that I shouldn’t include it in my applications?

Income earned in 2017 will be reported on the FAFSA and Profile for academic year 2019-2020.

@BelknapPoint Ok thank you!
