Self Employment on CSS

When filing out the CSS profile, there is a section on self employment. I tutor some people on and off. So it isn’t really consistent and it is through cash. It’s more like they need help studying for a test and I help them for that one day. Does that count as employment?

It sounds like you get paid to perform a service, so yes.

@BelknapPoint but how would I report the wages if say I earned $10 for that one time?

Also does it matter if I spent the money on supplies for school projects

You said that you tutor “some people on and off,” which implies more than one person, and on multiple occasions. Are you now saying that your total 2015 income from tutoring was $10, for one session?
