I'm an incoming freshman for CSULA of fall 2012. My major at this moment is Biochemistry but I want to switch it as soon as possible to Biology. I'm not sure what classes I should take as a freshman whereas I have to take remedial classes because of the state placement test and I know I have to enroll in Math 90 and English 95 but i'm still uncertain of what other class I have to take since I plan on being a full time student. Any suggestions on what classes I should take?

You really need to get in to see an advisor. If you can’t, then open your college catalog either from the bookstore or online. Then look at requirements beginning with basic courses in bio.

Did you declare a major when you applied?

I’ve spoken to an advisor all day on the phone and she seemed to be no help at all. I’d go to my college’s bookstore but I don’t move to my school until the 15th of this month and I’ve tried online whereas it’s not much of help either and yes I’ve declared my major when I applied to CSULA.
