Hi! I'm an incoming freshman to Marshall and I'm majoring in Electrical Engineering. In my pre-planner i basically have most of my classes figured out besides this. I was wondering for my first quarter, whether I should ECE15(Engineering Computation) or ECE25(Intro to Digital Design). The first one would clear my LD computer engineering requirement and the second one would clear one of my EE requirements. For a first quarter class, which would be better to take?

Both classes are very different. ECE15 was programming while ECE25’s emphasis was the labs. I would just pick the one with the better professor. You can also take both of them as well to get ahead.

I had professor Vardy for ECE15 and I recommend him. There were like 4 or 5 homework assignments, one midterm and a take home final that was due on Sunday. The class was pretty fun but can be very time consuming.
