<p>i'm a high school senior who will attend UCLA in the fall, with my intended major as biophysics in the college of letters and sci. however, after further research on this major and other majors, i've decided i want to switch to bioengineering, in the HSSEAS. </p>
<p>is there any way to do the transfer before classes actually begin? preferrably before orientation, so that at orientation, i can sign up for classes more relevant to bioengineering? also, i've heard the transfer process </p>
<p>if not, are there disadvantages to transferring in later on?</p>
<p>(if you can't tell, i don't really know anything about this process...or how classes/majors work...)</p>
