Incoming international student

Hey, I’m British and for a couple of years I’ve been at uni in England but part of my degree (American Studies) is a year abroad studying in the US - I chose, and got accepted by, Penn State and I’m flying out on August 11th. I got assigned West Halls on campus and I don’t really know a lot about it apart from I’m in a double room in Hamilton hall, so it’d be sick if anyone could gimme some idea of what HH/West Halls is like, aside from the fact it’s a decent location for getting food - thanks in advance people!

Older buildings, so more “character” than some of the newer ones. Few freshmen, so more civilized than East or Pollock. Laid back vibe, but not as artsy as North. Close to Rec Hall and the Lion Shrine. Convenient to the library. Adequately easy walk to downtown. Good dorm assignment at a great university. Wishing you the best of success and fun!
