is it possible to increase my sat score from 1700 to about a 2000 maybe? i have the bluebook and direct hits and i have until october.

Yes, just practice and follow the Xiggi Method.

That’s a lot of time to study. You can get a 2000.

It’s very possible, that’s about how much I improved between 7th and 8th grade with minimal prep.

definitely possible I went from a 1600 to around a 2200.

Sorry for thread jackibg, but is going from 1870-2000 range to 2300+ possible? Im a freshie

A freshie, as in freshman? Yeah, give it two more years until you’re a junior and some study time and you can get a 2300.

I scored a 202 on my sophomore PSAT.

Started studying around the start of junior year. Nothing heavy (did blue book tests and reviewed incorrect answers). I scored a 2330 (780 CR / 770 math/ 780 writing) in March.

It’s definitely possible. You don’t have to spend a lot of time studying. Focus on the areas you need to improve.

The key is making the most of your time this summer to memorize as much vocabulary as you can and do lots of practice tests. There will be a new PSAT Practice Test online (probably in August) that will give you more helpful practice materials and explanantions for everything. There will also be a new SAT Practice Test online with explanations.

^K thanks guys! I’ve been taking PR practice tests and got one from my GC and I got a 209 on it; 74M 74W 61CR(weird, i usually have CR and W switched). So yeah, i’m aiming 220+ and hopefully, with the help of yuo guys on CC, i can aim for a 2400 :)
