Incredibly Frustrated with ED forms...help please!

I'm applying early to Duke. However, I'm getting really confused.

They take Common App

A supplement is required. One is on the Common App site, under supplements. One is here https://www.admissions.duke.edu/jump/applying/PDF/FormASupp1.pdf.

Tech support says I need signatures of myself, parent, and counselor, which aren't on the CA online supplement. Does this mean I just mail in the very last page of the pdf form given above, and send in the rest online?

I remember I needed to mail in a page with my, my parents', and my counselor's signatures. The other stuff were all sent electronically or by my school in the case of rec letters and transcripts. Hope that helps.

That's exactly what you do. This matter was brought to Admissions' attention last year and they were supposed to clarify the directions. Apparently, they did not!

okay, thanks so much...I just have 2 last questions:

1) The D checklist says that while supplement is due Oct 19 for an interview, the actual app isn't due till Nov. 1. However, on a bunch of other places it says that to qualify for the interview, the entire app is due Oct 19, not just form A. Which one is it?

2) Is this the deadline for my stuff reaching them, or postmark?

Last year my SS submitted the first part by October 20th (last year's deadline) for the interview and the balance November 1. I remember it well because it was at 11:55 PM on Halloween that they pushed the button on the computer!

I would suggest, however, just for your piece of mind that you call the Admissions Office and ask. They were most responsive and helpful. Also, doesn't the website give the deadlines?

okay yall i called duke just a while ago: here is the run down, ALL that needs to be in is your Common APP Supplement, that last page has to be in by november 1st,(signature page) along with transcript and all of that stuff.
