@oreolover123 how is Waterloo for CS?
@KjInternational at this point UIUC is one of my favourites. Although, I’m hoping to get into UPenn and Berkeley
@ub1997 Waterloo is great for CS + it is much cheaper than US unis

@Indijat : well, i’d be willing to sacrifice my social life for an economical but excellent education.
@ub1997: tough choice if cost of attendance is a factor. If it isn’t, UIUC is better.
Waterloo and UIUC are almost equals in terms of reputation in the CS world as far as I’ve heard.
Recruiters consider Waterloo in the same ‘top-10’ league of ivies, MIT, Caltech, etc.
@KjInternational I’m majoring in CS too.
Accepted to UMass-Amherst with Honors and a Scholarship, Purdue, UofMinnesota-TC with scholarship, Rutgers, UofA+Scholarship, ASU, Texas A&M and denied from UIUC.
Waiting on UT-Austin, UW-Madison, Waterloo and Ohio State.

@KjInternational I tried for their 1st notif period but missed out because the TOEFL scores were sent a bit late. So I’m now in their second notif period. Hopefully I’ll hear this month or the next.
@blaugrana9 Weren’t you eligible for the TOEFL waiver? They waived my toefl because i’d studied all 4 years of highschool in english and they gathered that from my transcripts

@pallavijaniani I hadn’t mailed my transcripts by the 1st notif deadline either and I didn’t know about the TOEFL waiver

It happens!!! I gave the TOEFL as the first and as of that time, the most important part of my expedition!! :-*
