Are you applying for MIT as well??
Yes I am. :p
mercurysquad i believe you mentioned soemthing about missing school reports?
Yeah... practically all univs from my list have missing items

oic...i was wondering how ud feel comfy in such a place...Im studying in a christian school at the moment, and i really like the people here, but from what iv heard, christian based unis are a whole different cup of tea.

is there ne way to chk material receipt for pton online???

gtown is very secular and tries to promote its secular image more than its jesuit image... i have friends who are/have studyin @ gtown and it aint bad...my only reservation with gtown is the lack of electives for the field tht i am interested in...so we'll see...

btw. are u christian?

who here isnt?

adi man...I wish there was such a system! princeton - with people of the likes of Einstein and Nash, still doesnt have a computerised tracking system :p

ahhh....catholic....thats why u support the Desh ki bahu, right adi?

i dont know...dad is hindu, mom is jain, bro is spiritual, all of us were brought up in catholic schools, ....
i do go to church, but no more than i go to temples, gurudwaras, mosques, agyaaris, synogogue...i guess, i am a humanitarian (per the quiz) or more spiritual.

"thats why u support the Desh ki bahu"

i dont support Ms. Gandhi as such...i think she is as dumb as a stick. but at least she aint a murderer like your saffron briagadiers...so given a choice between a dumb woman and murderers, i do go with dumb woman...

thats a nice situation to be in...im pretty much that way too, except iv never been to a synagogue or agyaaris...i mostly am about contemplation in my own quiet room than about going to churches, temples, mosques, etc.

yeah man..if u live in bbay...u tend to have parsi and jewish friends and i love their food dude, so whenever i get a chance i go to agyaari with them. i love the food @ gurudwaras as well...man...me getting hungry...will grab something n be right back...

"murderer like YOUR saffron briagadiers"??? wt the fk? I NEVER supported that genocide...they were and are always ass*oles in my eyes, so are the muslims who torched the Godra train...in my opinion, both are extremists, and are terrorists. BJP (apart from Modi) is actually a pretty clean organisation...i mean apart from the godra incident, there was no blemish on their 5 year record at all...

lol...ms.pms...is suchz nick...n y it is her nick..ahem..i ges u shud ask her....:p....

n such has maxed her sat1 n has done equally well in sat2z lik u..so i sed tht both of u can mak best of frnds...sardonically....

btw...u seem to have half of my name...:p...just noticed it...;)

"apart from the godra incident..."
Used to be a BJP supporter too...but frankly, the above statement is equivalent to saying that hitler did nothing wrong cept the holocaust

Perhaps that is why we have Rabri heading Bihar rather than Laloo (he is a murderer, it's just not too apparent).

i mean it was Vajpayee's or advani's order...look at the cabinet. it was definitely clean. Much cleaner than Ms. Maino who stole Tanjore paintings from india to sell it at a bomb in italy, or like her wonderful husband who made tons of $$$ from cuts in the Bofors deal, or even like the present congress party, that selected the esteemed and sophisticate Laloo prasad yadav as railway minister, and the non-patriotic natwar singh as foreign minister <- he claimed that india should NOT have become a nuclear power...

sp, brother...listen...i dont want to discuss politics right now..coz
a. I want to study and cant get sidelined
b. Tomorrow is the godhra anniversary and i am already sentimental about it wondering how these murderers have got away without facing justice
c. I am having my dinner and getting excited while having dinner can cause indigestion
d. we have already discussed this topic on
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=31442

so let this topic RIP

bleh i forgot the "nt" after "was" in the first sentence...but u get my point. as a party, bjp is waaaay cleaner than congress...Modi might have been responsible for 700 deaths in gujarat over 2 weeks- but congress has been respnsible for the whole Kashmir issue (thanks to Nehru)and the 80,000 people who have died there since 1980 +++ in the Cong. govts after.

sp, no political party in India can afford to take moral high ground when it comes to corruption. BJP had its share of extremely corrupt politicians like mahajan and co.
