<p>an IB Course is a part of the International Baccalureate program which royally screws you for two years and then gives you a diploma. IB > AP</p>

<p>pros - highly recognized by american colleges for its academic rigor
intellectually rewarding i guess? ( you learn something from every course possible)</p>

<p>cons - expensive and time consuming</p>

<p>And Merc: You should apply to Drexel too (the deadline is 1st March) coz you hardly have any safeties.</p>

<p>Its a good safety, you can get loads of schols + they have a coop program, so you can virtually get out of there debt free!!</p>

<p>virtually debt free? I don't know. 2 of my friends have been accepted and by all accounts, their aid packages really suck.</p>

<p>yes such, virtually debt free. Max schols reach ~25K (correct me if I'm wrong, Akash) + with the Coop Program you can earn loads of $$$.</p>

<p>And Drexel doesn't offer Need Based Aid.</p>
