I have the opportunity to visit either IU or Purdue, but not both. I want to be an exercise science major.. Any suggestions?

Oh, and I'd like to study abroad somewhere in Europe

I would suggest IU. A quick look at Purdue’s website doesn’t indicate it has an exercise science major. IU definitely has an exercise science major. IU has literally 100’s of study abroad options. I imagine Purdue has quite a few as well. I would recommend looking into the courses offered at each university in the area of interest. I suspect in this case IU will come out on top.

Also, given the choice to visit either West Lafayette, Indiana (Purdue) or Bloomington, Indiana (Indiana University), Bloomington has to win every time.

My own son was admitted to both schools and after visiting both locations, he quickly knew that Indiana University was his preferred choice.

(Purdue is a great engineering school–but then if you applied to both schools, you already know that Indiana University doesn’t have an engineering school.)

Purdue = Bad.

'Nuff said.
