I'm trying to decide between schools, and I've visited both. Does anyone know which Studio Art Program is better? Indiana University at Bloomington, IN or University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ill.

Well, Champaign isn't really known for its art program. Champaign is big on Science, English, and Law (Drama is even more important there than Art is). But, that doesn't mean it's not good. Although, it's a very local town, so don't expect too many nightclubs or Starbucks or anything like that around. They also looooove their sports.

IU is supposed to be a well-rounded, allover decent school (nothing excellent, nothing poor) but just look into it more.

If you're very, very, extremely serious about art, then maybe you school try looking at strictly art colleges?

I thought about different art colleges, but I think I want more of the real "college" experience. I also would like to minor in dance. I know UIUC is based in modern, and IU has an amazing ballet program. What is IU's dance dept. like?
