Indians applying to UT

<p>Hi,
Was just wondering, how many Indians have applied to UT Austin?
I have, and havent heard back from them in months. Im also told they only give out acceptances in March however a small fraction of people have already been accepted. </p>

<p>What date did you apply and what were your stats? Also, have you heard back from them?</p>

<p>My stats:</p>

<p>SAT: 1860 ( :-S ) (560C-620W-680M)</p>

<p>SAT II - Didnt send (not required)</p>

<p>TOEFL: 105</p>

<p>HS transcript: 8.4, 8.8. 80%, 84% in IX, X, XI, XII half yearly respectively (CBSE)</p>

<p>Rank: Top 10%</p>

<p>EC's and recs are incredible, though I wont post them but you can get the idea: My teachers love me, Im a national basketball player, president of clubs, organizations, Boxer, State Athlete, MUNs, etc etc.</p>

<p>Your high school records are ok and so is SAT score. You might get accepted. Try applying to Texas A&M University also.</p>

<p>The key to having good ECs is actually having key roles in them. So, yeah your SATs are good. You mihgt do well :)</p>
