Inexpensive place to buy furniture?

Thank you, Pittsmom. Her apartment is just down from that corner. I hope her stuff is recovered. Our homeowner’s will cover most of it. I sent DD the link, so if she has not been in contact with the police since then she will be.

Her apartment door was locked. I was pried open. Thank you all.

OP, I second buying a bed frame (“hollywood frame”). Got one that adjusts to multiple sizes at Sam’s for $37. Can also get them from Walmart online and shipped to store near school. You can also get a base for bed for around $100 from there that is made to use just mattress or memory foam mattress without box spring. Both styles can have headboard added in the future.

What I started doing many years ago was boxspring and mattress on floor with no frame - all the underbed space was used for was clothing and trash. That was how to avoid it.

I guess what we end up doing when we get there depends on time. Obviously one of the must haves is a bed.

I spent more on the bed than anything else because I thought that was important. Also, the bed can be used for years. Good luck with the move.

Thanks - can;t believe we are taking him back a week from Friday. The summer went so fast.

I am a bit nervous though - have not seen the place the boys picked out yet - should be interesting to say the least.

Just remember, DonnaMom, college students are supposed to live in dumpy places and you don’t have to live there.;)
